Lauren Boebert gushes over how 'Pretty' Donald Trump looks when he is sleeping
'He certainly looks pretty while he sleeps,' says Republican politician
American politician and businesswoman Lauren Boebert has made interesting claims about "pretty" Donald Trump in court during his hush money trial hearings, HuffPost reported.
Defending the former president amid reports that he fell asleep during his criminal trial, Boebert said, "I think he’s praying."
Adding in, she said, "But if he is sleeping, y'know, he certainly looks pretty while he sleeps. Maybe it’s an endearing moment of prayer, though."
Explaining what happens when she nods off in public, Boebert said: "I know when I fall asleep on aeroplanes, my mouth kind of drops open, and y'know, his mouth is kind of tight-lipped, so maybe it’s just a somber moment of thought."
However, critics and Democrats were quick to reject the idea. Some followers even went on to make funny memes. Multiple witnesses have reported that Trump was snoozing during the trial.
Trump’s alleged sleeping in court has sparked debate and scepticism among social media users.
The Republic candidate is currently facing the first ever criminal trial of a former United States president.
He is accused of covering up secret payments made to adult star Stormy Daniels to hide their alleged affair just before the 2016 elections with help from former lawyer Michael Cohen.
