Karachi Kings will be coming face to face with Quetta Gladiators today (Sunday) in the 28th match of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) 4, in Karachi.
The match is expected to put the Kings in a tough spot as they lock horns with the table toppers at the city’s National Stadium today, who have already won seven out of their nine matches played and have been routed in only one as compared to Karachi Kings who have lost four and won four only.
It has become essential for Karachi to come out victorious in today’s match as well as their next match tomorrow with Peshawar Zalmi in order to qualify for the playoffs.
With Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators already making it to the next stage of the tournament, Lahore Qalanders and Karachi Kings are presently walking on a tight rope for their qualification in the playoffs.
Qalanders will manage to proceed to the next round if they win their match tomorrow with Multan Sultans by a huge margin, and also if Karachi Kings loses its remaining two matches for the round.
