KARACHI: With Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) UAE levels complete, the tournament is all set to enter its Karachi leg for which the players have started arriving to the metropolis.
Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed along with others arrived in Pakistan while few are yet to come.
Opening batsman for the Gladiators Shane Watson will be flying in tonight while Rilee Rossouw, Dwayne Bravo and Fawad Ahmed are also prepping up to join the rest.
On the other hand, Lahore Qalanders’ players will reach Karachi through two different flights today as well along with teams of Islamabad United and Karachi Kings.
While other Islamabad United players are ready to come Karachi including Luke Ronchi, Phillip Salt and Camron Delport England’s Ian Bell will be unable to join the tournament’s Karachi leg;
After getting disqualified from the playoffs Multan Sultans will have only one match in Karachi which will be played against Lahore Qalanders.
Peshawar Zalmi is the only team whose players have previously flown into the country for the earlier editions of PSL and will continue to do so this year as well, as confirmed by the owner, Javed Afridi.
