The 19th T20 match in the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be played between Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on February 28.

Peshawar Zalmi are placed second on the points table with six points (net run rate 1.049) while Multan Sultans are on the fourth position with four points with an NRR of -0.003.

The Zalmi have won three matches and lost two from five matches they have so far played in the tournament while the Sultans have so far won two and lost four matches from their six matches.

Both had met earlier on February 24 at Sharjah where Peshawar Zalmi defeated Multan Sultans by five wickets.

The highest total from Multan Sultans was 200/6 which they piled up against Lahore Qalandars at Sharjah on February 22 whereas Peshawar Zalmi’s highest total was 155/4 (vs Quetta Gladiators at Dubai on February 15).

Veteran Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, who is leading the Multan Sultans, has so far scored the most runs for his team – 191 in six matches at an average of 47.75 with two fifties while for Peshawar Zalmi, it is Imam-ul-Haq, who has made 127 runs in four matches at an average of 31.75 with two half-centuries.

However, the highest individual score for Multan Sultans is 84 made off 41 balls by James Vince against Lahore Qalandars at Sharjah on Feb 22 while Umar Amin made the highest score for Peshawar Zalmi (61 not out off 39 balls vs Lahore Qalandars at Dubai on Feb 17).

Peshawar Zalmi’s pacer Hasan Ali has so far taken 15 wickets at an average of 7.06 – the most by any bowler in PSL4. He has achieved the four-wicket haul on three times as no other bowler in the tournament could take the four wickets in an innings for more than once.

The highest wicket-taker for Multan Sultans is left-arm fast bowler Junaid Khan, who has so far captured eight wickets at an average of 18.75.
