PSL 4: Multan Sultans fined for slow over-rate
As this was Multan Sultans’ first offence, their captain Shoaib Malik and rest of his players have been fined 10 per cent each of their match fees.
Sharjah: Multan Sultans have been fined for two slow overs in their HBL Pakistan Super League match against Peshawar Zalmi at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
The Pakistan Cricket Board said the team has been fined 10 percent of the match feed.
Article 2.5 of the PSL Code of Conduct for Player and Player Support Personnel, which relates to minor over-rate offences was breached.
As this was Multan Sultans’ first offence, their captain Shoaib Malik and rest of his players have been fined 10 per cent each of their match fees.
If Multan Sultans commit another slow over-rate offence, then each of their playing member will be fined 20 per cent of their match fees.
Match referee Roshan Mahanama sanctioned the fined.
