Second round of 8th CNS Amateur Golf Championship concludes

Islamabad: At the conclusion of the second round in this three rounds 8th Chief of Naval Staff Amateur Golf Championship in progress at the Defence Raya Golf Course, the champion in command was Ahmed Baig of Garrison Golf Club.

Ahmed Baig displayed tremendous playing abilities and managed to acquire control of this competition with a two rounds aggregate score of 125, nineteen under par.

Never before has a participant excelled to this extent in a Championship in Pakistan.

His nearest competitor going into the final phase is Salman Jehangir of Lahore Gymkhana.

Salman is placed at a gross aggregate score of 145 and is twenty strokes behind the leader.

In third position is Mohsen Zafar of Lahore Gymkhana with a two rounds score of 148.

In the Ladies section Parkha Ijaz of Defence Raya won the Ladies Title with a score of gross 76.
