Harry Potter famed author J.K. Rowling has come to the defence of actor Johnny Depp. Fans expressed outrage on the casting of Depp as Gellert Grindelwald in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts movie after Depp was alleged of domestic abuse by ex-wife.

Harry Potter famed author J.K. Rowling has come to the defence of actor Johnny Depp.
Fans expressed outrage on the casting of Depp as Gellert Grindelwald in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts movie after Depp was alleged of domestic abuse by ex-wife.
Rowling shushed down angry fans through a statement on her website saying that the private life of actors should be respected.
She further said, “ We are not only comfortable sticking with our original casting, but genuinely happy to have Johnny playing a major character in the movies.”
Director David Yates also came to defend the act of casting Depp.
The movie Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald to be released in November, 2018 is a sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find them.
