A rare pink diamond has been sold at an auction for a whopping price of $32 million at Sotheby’s in Hong Kong.
The incredible 14.93-carat Fancy Vivid VVS1 pink diamond is known as the ‘The Pink Promise Diamond.’ The final bid was put forth by Hong Kong jewelry firm Chow Tai Fook.
The unique stone has clocked in at a price of $2.15 million per carat.
According to sources, it took almost a period of two years to transform the rough diamond into Pink Promise.
