LEICESTER, UK: Sri Lanka Women won the toss and opted to bat against Pakistan in the last league match in the ICC Women’s world Cup 2017 here at the Grace Road ground on Saturday.

Sri Lanka captain Inoka Ranaweera decided to bat first after winning the toss which was delayed due to rain. Sri Lanka and Pakistan are the only two teams who could not win any match so far in the tournament as they have already out of the race for semi-finals.

Pakistan have had major issues in the batting department and have terribly missed the services of Bismah Maroof who was ruled out early into the tournament owing to an injury to her hand.

Sri Lanka on the other hand have showed signs of a team effort only to come short every time.

It should be advantage Pakistan as they have played here at Grace Road but Sri Lanka haven't. Nothing to pick and choose between the two teams and that should ensure a fascinating contest between the bottom dwellers of the points table.

Teams:

Sri Lanka Women: Nipuni Hansika, Hasini Perera, Chamari Atapattu, Shashikala Siriwardene, Dilani Manodara(w), Prasadani Weerakkody, Eshani Lokusuriyage, Ama Kanchana, Sripali Weerakkody, Inoka Ranaweera(c), Chandima Gunaratne

Pakistan Women: Ayesha Zafar, Nahida Khan, Javeria Khan, Nain Abidi, Sana Mir(c), Sidra Nawaz(w), Iram Javed, Asmavia Iqbal, Kainat Imtiaz, Sadia Yousuf, Diana Baig
