PSL final: Quetta Gladiators pick foreign players
LAHORE: The Quetta Gladiators team have named their five foreign players who will take part in the Pakistan Super League second edition final, to be played this Sunday at Gaddafi stadium.
The Quetta Gladiators certainly faced a quagmire when all of its foreign players in the squad refused to play the final of the Pakistan Super League. The list also included hard-hitting batsman Kevin Peitersen. However, the team led by Sarfraz Ahmed have named the foreign players who will be playing the final and they are:-
Elton Chigumbura – Zimbabwe
Sean Ervine – Zimbabwe
Anamul Haque – Bangladesh
Morne Van Wyk – South Africa
Rayad Emrit – West Indies
Kevin Pietersen, Luke Wright, Tymal Mills and Rilee Rossouw bowed out of the PSL final to be held in Lahore after their thrilling one-run victory over Peshawar Zalmi in the first play-off. All foreign players cited security reasons for not playing the match in Pakistan.
Aizaz Cheema will replace the injured Umar Gul for the Gladiators.
