The chai wala signs film after doing commercial, music video and ramp walk

ISLAMABAD: The dreamy-eyed chai wala Arshad Khan has just landed his first film project.

After walking the ramp and appearing in a few commercials, Arshad is making debut in a movie ‘Kabeer’.

“I have signed a movie. There will be a good role for me. I hope that people will watch the movie and like it,” Arshad Khan said while talking to a TV channel.

He found overnight fame after being snapped by photographer Jiah Ali working at a tea shop in a bazaar of Islamabad.

Soon Arshad Khan became the Pakistani internet sensation popularly known as Chaiwala. After landing a modeling contract, he did a commercial of a motorcycle advertisement, appeared in a music video and walked the ramp.

Now, at last the chiseled face chaiwala would be seen acting, after rejecting movie roles previously. He would soon leave for England for his debut film project.

The RM Film, by Meesam Ali and Rachel Khan featuring Arshad Khan, will hit the local cinema houses in 2017
