Putney Pusher suspect Nicholas Brandam found dead at home

In the latest update, a man suspected of being the Putney Pusher who pushed a woman into the path of a bus during a run has been found dead at his home.

The 44-year-old Nicholas Brandram was being probed in the so-called Putney pusher case after CCTV went viral demonstrating how close the women came to being run over by the 430 bus.

He was arrested in June this year on suspicion of intent to do grievous bodily harm. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that he had been released for further investigation.

On Tuesday evening, the banker was found dead at his home, and the Met confirmed his death was treated as unexpected but free of showing no sign of wrongdoing. A spokesperson for the force asserted that officers attended a property in Chiswick together after a man alongside paramedics was found unconscious.

“Sadly, a 44-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed.”

Furthermore, he was in police custody in June over the Putney Bridge incident, and Brandam and he was also detained on preliminary drug-possession allegations.
