Chase Infiniti eyes major career move after 'Bad' appearance
The actress made a recent musical appearance in 'Ateez's music video for 'Bad'
Chase Infiniti expressed her desire to star in a musical drama following her sensational appearance in the music video for Bad, a song by popular South Korean boy band, Ateez.
The One Battle After Another actress revealed that she wanted to channel her performative energy to a big screen role.
During a recent chat with Variety when asked if she is interested in musicals, she replied, "I mean – I would love to sing and dance in a musical."
As for her upcoming role in the movie, The Julia Set, in which she plays the role of a math genius, Chase admitted despite being weak in the subject she had to draw inspiration from things she is good at and flipped it for maths.
She explained, "I had to pull from my own experience and flip it in a way that worked for what Julia was going through.
"I am not a math genius! Math is not my forte. I picked something else in my life that I felt I performed strongly at. I used that to build my confidence with math in the movie."
Chase continued, "I think I’m pretty good at my job. I thought about how I feel about performing in general and used that to create Julia’s energy behind her math skills."
The actress further added she connected with Julia on a personal level.
She said, "I was instantly drawn to it because Julia is a wonderful human being. It felt like telling a very real story that feels central to growing up.
