Prince George gets quiet two-word support from close relative on Eton journey

When snaps of Prince George on his boarding journey at Eton College were posted online, many well-wishers left comments of support.

James Middleton was one of them.

He is the brother of George's mom, Kate Middleton, wife of Prince William.

Under his photo's comment section, where the 13-year-old appeared suave, he dropped just two words.

"Big Day," he wrote while adding a heart emoji with it.

According to Hello!, this shows James's support for the young prince and his parents, as sending one's kids to boarding school is an emotional family milestone.

George attending the school is notable because he is following in the footsteps of his father, Prince William, who himself attended Eton.

There, the future monarch probably had the best of his times.

“I'll miss my friends and Dr Gailey (Housemaster), who has been a tremendous support to me. And I've really enjoyed being able to go about Eton as just another student,” he previously said.

Similarly, Prince Harry attended Eton, as he explained in his bombshell memoir, Spare, where he opened up about making his name in sports.

"Sport, I decided, would be my thing at Eton," he penned.

'Dividing the students into two groups at sports,' Harry explained, 'there were dry and wet bobs.'

“Sporty boys were separated into two groups: dry bobs and wet bobs."

Then, the father-of-two wrote what the term means: "Dry bobs played cricket, football, rugby, or polo. " Wet bobs rowed, sailed, or swam."

Harry, however, joked, “I was a dry who occasionally got wet.”

But what caught the prince's attention the most was rugby.

"I played every dry sport, though rugby captured my heart. Beautiful game, plus a good excuse to run into stuff very hard."

Harry wrote that rage was filled inside, and rugby helped him channel it.

“Rugby let me indulge my rage. I simply didn't feel pain the way other boys did, which made me scary on a pitch."

Meanwhile, William and Kate will live near George's school, Forest Lodge, in Windsor.
