Drake makes surprise festival appearance ahead of FOMO rollout
Drake has been teasing FOMO on social media for a while
Weeks ago, Drake teased a secret project, FOMO, but did not reveal it.
Amid leaving fans on edge, Drizzy made a surprise entry at the Taraka festival in the city’s Port Lands.
His appearance was in support of his frequent collaborator and producer Gordo.
Not to mention, the One Dance hitmaker also performed his hit track Over.
His appearance comes after he announced a YouTube livestream of FOMO, or Fear of Missing Out, on September 15.
Some say it could be an album; others say it could be a tour.
Joe Budden, a popular podcaster, also recently weighed in on the rumored album, calling for Drake to include a diss track against Jay-Z.
"I don't care what he's talking about on that album," the podcaster said. "We are looking for Hov shots."
According to Budden, Jay-Z has been in a strong position, so a diss track from Drake could shake that position.
"Ruin his day. How do you look like he out there having too smooth of a day?" he said.
His remarks come against the backdrop of Drizzy allegedly taking a dig at Jay-Z on ICEMAN.
Reportedly, in response, Jay-Z delivered sharp verses against Drake at Roots Picnic freestyle.
