Drake makes surprise festival appearance ahead of FOMO rollout

Weeks ago, Drake teased a secret project, FOMO, but did not reveal it.

Amid leaving fans on edge, Drizzy made a surprise entry at the Taraka festival in the city’s Port Lands.

His appearance was in support of his frequent collaborator and producer Gordo.

Not to mention, the One Dance hitmaker also performed his hit track Over.

His appearance comes after he announced a YouTube livestream titled FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) on September 15.

Speculation is rife about the secret project; some say it could be an album, others say it could be a tour.

But for Joe Budden, it seemingly doesn't matter unless it has a diss track against Jay-Z in his rumoured project.

"I don't care what he's talking about on that album," the podcaster recently said on his talk show. "We are looking for Hov shots."

Jay-Z, according to Budden, is currently at ease with his position in the industry.

The podcaster wants Drake to disturb it.

"Ruin his day. How do you look like he out there having too smooth of a day?" he shared.

Delivering sharp verses against Jay-Z will not be rare for Drake, who allegedly slammed him on ICEMAN.

Jay-Z also did not let the opportunity go and responded to him at Roots Picnic freestyle.
