James Gunn wraps 'Superman' sequel 'Man of Tomorrow' with lake plunge
James Gunn shares photos on social media after finishing 'Superman' sequel shooting
James Gunn did something different when he wrapped filming the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow: he took a plunge into the lake.
And not alone but with Nicholas Hoult, who portrayed Lex Luthor.
On Threads, a platform the director frequently used, he wrote, “That’s a wrap on principal photography for Man of Tomorrow."
“Truly a joyful experience, and I have immense gratitude to my cast and crew," the filmmaker said.
“The brain trust (except Brian) around video village during the whole shoot. They make making movies fun,” Gunn penned.
As far as casting is concerned, Man of Tomorrow stars Lars Eidinger as Brainiac, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, and Adria Arjona as Maxima.
Man of Tomorrow arrives in cinemas on July 9, 2027.
