Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend's attempts to make amends after 'punching' actress revealed
Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend's alleged domestic violence details revealed from court documents
Hayden Panettiere and on-and-off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson had a complicated history.
In 2018, the pair began dating.
But a few years later, it turned into an alleged abusive one.
Court documents, according to TMZ, show Hickerson was taking classes on preventing domestic violence at Curran Seeley Foundation.
That's because he punched the late actress in 2020, and she called the police, and marks on the star's body, as per the authorities, confirmed the allegation.
This led to Hickerson's arrest and prompted his legal team to argue that his warrant should be dropped.
Then, financial troubles entered the case.
In court, Hickerson said he has been struggling financially. To prove it, he gave an example.
His bond money?
The accused claimed he had to borrow it from his family to cover it.
His attorney also argued that Hickerson was so broke he couldn't travel to a court in Wyoming because he lived in Los Angeles.
After hearing the arguments, the court sentenced Pannettiere's boyfriend to 360 days in jail.
But 358 of them were suspended, giving him a year of unsupervised probation, hence the global resolution.
Not to mention, TMZ's report also included Hickerson's threat to Pannettiere to portray all dimensions of their tumultuous relationship.
The threat came as the actress cooperated with the police.
But strikingly, after the arrest and the courtroom drama and a restraining order, the couple reunited while Hickerson was present at the moment Pannettiere breathed her last breath inside the apartment in South Carolina, which by no means implies that he caused her death..
