King Charles gives a nod to Duke of Kent's latest visit

The royal family honored RNLI lifeguards through the Duke of Kent in their latest post.

The Duke of Kent hosted an engagement at Kensington Palace to celebrate 25 years of RNLI lifeguarding and in honor of their life-saving work.

The official Instagram handle of the Royal Family shared photos from the Duke's latest engagement on behalf of King Charles.

One of the photos showed the Duke of Kent standing with a group of RNLI lifeguards in their yellow and red uniforms, who are proudly holding commemorative signs that read “Lifeguards 25 years."

Meanwhile, the other displayed a message “The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea.”

As per the caption, “Last week, The Duke of Kent welcomed @RNLI lifeguards to Kensington Palace, in recognition of their lifesaving work as the charity marks 25 years of lifeguarding.”

RNLI volunteers provide 24-hour search and rescue services around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts, operating 238 lifeboat stations and more than 240 lifeguard units,” the caption further reads.

For those unaware, RNLI was founded in 1824, and it provides round-the-clock search and rescue. Also, the charity's main mission is to provide safety at sea.
