Inside Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez's rekindled romance
Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez are reportedly giving their romance second change.
Insiders have revealed that the pair are happily spending time together following a series of public hints about their rekindles romance.
A source told People Magazine, "They’re happy and enjoying downtime between shows," as Grande continues her Eternal Sunshine tour.
This comes just days after Grande fueled speculation during her Brooklyn concert by changing the lyrics to her hit song Thank U, Next in honour of Alvarez's birthday.
Instead of the original line, she sang, "Wrote some songs about Ricky / We always find our way back," prompting cheers from fans.
Previously, insiders told the outlet that Grande and Alvarez are taking their relationship "very slowly."
"She’s not held ill will against him [since their split]. Ricky is dependable, trustworthy and very supportive. Ariana feels she can be herself around Ricky," the insider said.
Adding that Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez have a "similar, smart, dry sense of humour" and are not "jumping into anything serious right away."
The source said of Grande "really trusts him. He has such great, positive energy, makes her laugh and she enjoys spending time with him."
The duo dated from 2015 to 2016 and he is famously name-checked alongside several other exes in her 2018 hit Thank U, Next.
