Tyler Farr just opened up about his near-death experience after a recent truck accident.

On Saturday, June 13, the 42-year-old American singer-songwriter cancelled a show at the Goshen Stampede in Connecticut after he was hit by a truck on a farm. Soon after the incident, he was transported to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a severe concussion.

Now to give an update to his fans about his health, Farr posted a video on his social media.

In the clip, he told his fans, "I just wanted to say a big thanks for all the people who have sent out their prayers or messages. Friends, family, fans, thank you so much. I was hospitalized last week for a severe concussion."

The Damn Good Friends crooner added, "I was unresponsive for about two minutes. I was doing a writer’s retreat, and a buddy of mine was driving a pickup truck. I was on the tailgate. It was an accident. It wasn’t nobody’s fault. Believe it or not, it was not mine because that was the first thing I asked when I became responsive."

“It was just a kind of a freak deal, pothole riding on a tailgate. I was in the middle, had nothing to hold onto. What I was told, that’s what happened,” Farr shared.

It is pertinent to mention that the Questions hitmaker, who also apologised to his fans for cancelling the show, penned “some great songs” during the retreat.

"I love country music. I’ll keep saying that ’til they put me in the ground. We love you,” Tyler Farr concluded.
