'Top Gear' star Jeremy Clarkson announces 'aggressive' cancer diagnosis
Jeremy Clarkson is battling prostate cancer
Top Gear legend Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he is battling prostate cancer.
The 66-year-old TV personality opened up about his diagnosis during the final two episodes of Clarkson’s Farm Season 5.
“I’ve got cancer," Jeremy announced, leaving Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper in shock.
“No, you haven’t. Where?" Kaleb responded, to which Jeremy replied, “Where it is is of no concern of anybody. I’ve known since May.”
The TV star added that when he “disappeared off the other week,” he’d gone to the doctor and “had a biopsy.”
Jeremy described the disease as "aggressive," adding that “it’s really early.”
“I was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment but it’s going to be slap bang in the middle," he said.
Kaleb then told Jeremy to “look after yourself” and “if you need anything just ring.”
Clarkson replied, “Listen, I’m not daft, it’s going to be in about two weeks, maybe three. I’ll have to go and have an operation and then, the operation is in and out in no time, but your body’s out of action for a little while.”
The Grand Tour star added that he “wasn’t thrilled” with the news.
