Inside Oliver Tree's life who died in fatal Brazil helicopter crash

When I'm Down singer Oliver Tree tragically passed away in a helicopter crash on Sunday in Brazil.

​The 32-year-old American singer-songwriter and rapper was among the six victims of the fatal crash when the aircraft collided with another helicopter with one sole passenger mid-air.

​Another notable figure in the crash was Gaspar Prim, who is an Argentinian YouTuber known as Gaspi.

​Who was Oliver Tree?

​Oliver Tree, whose real name was Oliver Tree Nickell, rose to fame after his song When I'm Down went viral and he released his debut studio album, Ugly Is Beautiful, in July, 2020.

​The late artist was born in Santa Cruz, California and began his music career at the age of 17 when he used to work with big names like Skrillex and Zeds Dead under the name "Tree."

​He released his first independent album, Splitting Branches, in early 2013 but soon after he took a break for his studies. He then returned to music, being featured on the song Forget It by Getter.
