Piers Morgan makes shocking predictions about Fifa World Cup final

Journalist and presenter Piers Morgan has made shocking predictions about the Fifa World Cup 2026 final.

The World Cup kicked off in the United States on Friday with a Hollywood-style opening ceremony.

"Welcome to the USA" announced a booming voiceover, as a closeup of the city´s famous Hollywood sign flashed on giant screens at the SoFi stadium, temporarily renamed the Los Angeles Stadium.

Celebrities including Tom Cruise, David Beckham, Halle Berry, Rob Lowe, Owen Wilson and Paris Hilton looked on as performers danced around a giant World Cup trophy in the middle of the pitch.

Mexico and Canada are also co-hosts.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter handle, Piers Morgan made the predictions about who will win the world cup final.

He said, “MY WORLD CUP PREDICTION:

“No country has ever won it with a foreign manager, but this is the year that ends.”

He further said “England or Brazil will win, and Tuchel or Ancelotti will make history.”

In another tweet, Piers Morgan said, “If England don’t win then I’d love to see Portugal win it.”

He continued, “But Brazil have an amazing squad, a great manager, are best suited to the conditions, and nobody is talking about them much… dangerous!”

Commenting on it, one football fan said “All Brazil players play in Europe so how does the American conditions suit them? This World Cup will be won by either France or Spain. England and Brazil will be watching the finals at home.”
