Denmark's King Frederik opens an international conference on artificial intelligence
Denmark's royal family on Tuesday released a statement saying Britain's Duchess Sophie attended a conference on artificial intelligence and social media’s impact on the wellbeing of children and young people.
"The Duchess attended the conference as a patron of the English children's charity National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children," said the statement which also accompanied multiple photos from the event.
It said King Frederik opened the conference with a speech in the Landstingsalen at Christiansborg.
The conference was organized by Red Barnet in collaboration with former leading vice-chairman of the EU Commission Margrethe Vestager and the American organization Common Sense Media.
"In addition, the Chairman of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh attended, among others.
As a mark of respect, the Danish Royal Family featured a photograph of King Frederik with Duchess Sophie as the lead image of their multi-photo carousel post from the event.
