Kate Middleton ‘willingly hands William hammer’ after Harry’s cancer comments: ‘Nail that door shut!’

Kate Middleton, once her brother in law Harry’s biggest advocate behind Palace walls is said to have properly given up once the Duke of Sussex made one comment about cancer that prompted her to hand Prince William the hammer herself, to nail the door shut.

“For a long time, Kate tried to rise above all the drama because she genuinely believed there was still a path toward some sort of peace between Sussexes and the royals.”

“She bent over backwards to avoid escalating tensions and always hoped things could eventually calm down. But from her perspective, every carefully choreographed overseas appearance and every so-called royal-style tour has chipped away at that goodwill.”

“She now feels Meghan and Harry are deliberately blurring the lines between celebrity branding and royal duty while still cashing in on the status that comes with their titles. That has become incredibly difficult for Kate to accept because she takes the responsibilities of royal life very seriously. In short, Kate has killed off the idea of a reunion with the Sussexes this summer.”

Prince Harry’s Comments that angered Kate Middleton:

For those unversed with what the comments were that made Kate Middleton truly angry is the fact that Prince Harry showed negativity about his father’s battle against cancer and said, he “didn’t know how much longer (his) father had.”

According to the outlet, given her own battle with the same disease made the Princess of Wales change her mind about pushing for reconciliation because she felt “hurt”.

That is not to say Kate was the only one effected by the comments, instead Prince William took the cake because he was “apoplectic with rage.”

According to one expert, Christopher Anderson, “William, who had already slammed the door shut on his brother over what Harry wrote in Spare, was, in the words of a courtier, ‘apoplectic’ with rage. Now it was time to nail the door shut once and for all, and for the first time, Kate, who had worked harder than anyone to mend the rift between the brothers, willingly handed her husband a hammer.”
