'Worried' Andrew shares new demands after Prince Harry's support
Prince Harry believes his disgraced uncle former Duke of York Andrew ‘deserves stronger protection’
The recent security breach has left former Duke of York Andrew ‘shaken and worried’ for his safety and demanded his old security back amid nephew Prince Harry’s support.
Harry believes his disgraced uncle ‘deserves stronger protection’ after latest incident close to the home of Andrew in eastern England.
The British media reported that a man wearing a balaclava had allegedly threatened Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, when he was out walking his dogs in the eastern Sandringham area.
Now, a royal expert has claimed that Andrew wants his old security back.
Speaking to the Fox News Digital, royal expert Helena Chard has claimed that the "recent scary masked man confrontation has left him shaken and worried for his safety."
The incident has reopened the discussion surrounding Andrew's security.
The expert said, "There are rumours he wants his old security back, although he was unscathed.
"His private protection officer dealt with the confrontation and aftermath. The King is understood to be funding Andrews ‘exile’ at Marsh Farm, including former royal protection cops. They are not armed. Allegedly some stay in a cabin in the back garden."
However, Helena said reviewing Andrew's security is one thing, but talk of reinstating Met Police armed protection is already sparking public backlash, and understandably so.
"Realistically, his security status won’t change. That ship has sailed. The security debate will come up from time to time. Andrew will continue to sleep with one eye open."
