Sarah Ferguson cruelly labelled ‘high-society grifter’ amid Epstein fallout
Sarah Ferguson left hurt by cruel label as royal ties reportedly fade amid Jeffrey Epstein scandal
Sarah Ferguson is reportedly being mocked in royal circles as her close relationship with former husband Prince Andrew continues to weaken after years of controversy linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
According to reports, some insiders have cruelly referred to the former Duchess of York as a “high-society grifter” because she is said to be staying with wealthy friends and moving between places like Ireland, Dubai and the United States.
An insider claimed that Fergie and Andrew's relationship has changed now even though they were close even after divorcing in 1996.
And now Ferguson is said to be upset by the way she is now being viewed, as she always believed she and Andrew would continue facing difficult times together.
"Sarah spent years standing loyally beside Andrew while almost everyone else distanced themselves from him. She defended him privately, remained at Royal Lodge, and genuinely believed they would continue facing the fallout together no matter how bad things became," they said.
The insider added, "But over time, the pressure, humiliation, and social exile surrounding the Epstein scandal changed the dynamic between them."
"There are people within elite social circles who now cruelly refer to Sarah as a 'high-society grifter' because she's effectively moving from place to place depending on wealthy friends for support.
"She's basically living the life of an upmarket con-woman, on the run. She hates that perception because she always saw herself as part of a royal partnership, not someone surviving on favors and temporary arrangements."
