How Justin Baldoni feels after settling nasty legal battle with Blake Lively

Justin Baldoni is "ecstatic" after settling his messy legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively.

“I can’t talk about the terms of the settlement, but what I can tell you is that he is ecstatic," the actor’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, told the Extra TV on Wednesday.

“He is ecstatic … at the results of this and the settlement itself," continued the lawyer. "He is very pleased with where this ended up."

Bryan further told the outlet that the 42-year-old actor was not personally involved in the litigation until settlement talks began.

“This is not his settlement,” said Justin's attorney. “He’s already out of the case by the time this settlement discussion even starts. Justin Baldoni is not a party, and that’s what gets forgotten a lot.”

“If you’re looking at this settlement as a win or a loss or anything else, I think he just looks at it as a logical ending to a case that he was already out of," he continued.

Bryan added that the case had shifted significantly before both parties entered settlement talks.

“Ten of the 13 claims were gone as a result of the summary judgment motion,” he said. “Five individuals were out of the case. What remained was really Blake Lively versus It Ends With Us, the movie LLC, the agency group and Wayfarer Studios.”

For those unversed, the legal dispute between Justin and Blake officially concluded on Monday, May 4.
