According to the FDA report cited by FOX Business, additional testing found the presence of cereulide, a toxin linked to food poisoning that can cause vomiting and is difficult to remove once it contaminates food.

A total of 63,078 units were affected, with around 16,428 sold to consumers. The products were distributed in the United States through the company’s website, Amazon and Meijer stores.

The recalled formula was sold in 31.7 oz tins with use-by dates of July 15, 2026, January 15, 2027, and January 21, 2027, with specific batch numbers identified by regulators.

"Importation rights expired on December 31st, 2025, and the Product has been discontinued and removed from sale prior to the initiation of the recall," the FDA's report read.

No illnesses have been reported so far. However, officials are advising consumers to dispose of the affected products or return them for a refund.
