Prince William is said to be holding his ground when it comes to his relationship with estranged brother Prince Harry.

According to insiders, there has been little to no contact between the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex.

The distance, both personal and physical, appears unchanged despite ongoing talk of a possible reconciliation, reported The Express.

An insider said that the situation between brothers worsened due to Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s high-profile international appearances and commercial engagements.

Weighing on it, royal commentator Tom Bower suggested that the ongoing situation could have wider implications for the monarchy in the future.

This comes after it was reported that William is under a lot of pressure to mend ties with Harry ahead of his return for the one-year countdown event for Invictus Games.

An insider told Heat Magazine that the Prince of Wales says that “there’s no chance that he’ll allow him back into his life.”

“He’s under pressure from all sides to agree to make peace with Harry but it’s having no effect on him. The more people try to nudge him toward forgiving Harry, the more he seems to resist it," added the insider.

“And with both of them as defensive and righteous as ever, it’s hard to imagine Harry’s trip will do anything for their relationship except add more fuel to the fire."
