Meghan Markle travelled to Chicago without Prince Harry, Archie and Lilibet
Meghan Markle has made a solo trip to Chicago amid reports her father Thomas Markle has returned to US after treatment in Philippines.
Thomas Markle has returned to the United States days before his grandson Prince Archie’s 7th birthday.
Prince Archie will turn seven on May 6.
He has returned to the US from the Philippines on Saturday after his leg was amputated.
Thomas nearly died when a blood clot in his left thigh cut off the blood supply to his foot five months back.
Thomas Markle has now moved to an undisclosed location after leaving his home on the island of Cebu, where he moved last year to start a new life more than 7,000 miles away from Prince Harry and Meghan.
Meanwhile, a royal expert claimed Meghan made a rare solo trip to Chicago to attend the First Communion of a college friend's son, who is her godson.
Expert Natalie Martinez took to X, formerly Twitter handle and said Meghan attended a First Communion ceremony at the Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago on Saturday, May 2.
The photo shows Meghan, 44, in an elegant beige turtleneck, smiling as children process down the aisle.
The People also confirmed that Meghan traveled to Chicago over the weekend for the First Communion of the son of one of her best friends from college and that Meghan is the boy's godmother.
Meghan has already returned home to Montecito, California, the publication also reported.
