Kanye West's new Europe concert confirmed as Prime Minister drops bombshell announcement
Kanye West's announcement of the show follows several concerts being cancelled
Kanye West is officially set to hit the stage in Tirana, Albania, after a string of concerts in Europe have been axed over his past antisemitic remarks.
The concert will take place on July 11, 2026.
Edi Rama, the country's prime minister, personally shared the announcement on his official Facebook page, signaling the government's full support.
This support is in stark contrast to what the UK's PM, Keir Starmer, provided to Ye.
The head of Labour-led government barred the controversial rapper from entering the country after he was invited to perform at the Wireless Festival.
In a statement, Starmer cited support for the Jewish community and the Donda hitmaker's previous hateful remarks as the reason for denying him entry.
"Kanye West should never have been invited to headline Wireless," he said, adding, "This government stands firmly with the Jewish community."
"We will not stop in our fight to confront and defeat the poison of antisemitism."
"We will always take the action necessary to protect the public and uphold our values," the statement added.
The cancellation of Ye's show in the UK sparked, his fans say, a domino effect that led other countries to pull the plug as well.
For example, in Marseille, France, the Grammy winner's show was postponed, as well as a show in Chorzów, Poland, which was also cancelled.
