King Charles reaction on surprising family link with Donald Trump revealed

King Charles reportedly did not feel pleasure in knowing that reports revealed he shares a distant ancestral link with Donald Trump.

The connection is based on old family records tracing back to a Scottish nobleman, as per reports.

They added that family history research indicates that Trump’s maternal ancestry, through his mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, links back to the same broader lineage that connects to the House of Windsor.

While the report noted that it is not unusual, but sources claimed the King is uncomfortable because of his strong disagreement with Trump’s views and behaviour.

According to a US-based entertainment site, Charles finds the situation a bit ironic with insiders saying he would rather the focus stay on his official visit and diplomatic work.

"There was a degree of discomfort at the discovery – not because of the historical connection itself, which is not unusual among European and transatlantic lineages, but because Charles basically detests everything Trump stands for,” the source said of Charles’ reaction on allegedly being Trump’s cousin.

They added, "He is, frankly, sickened to know they have any relation. He hates Trump's foreign policy, environmental policy, his manners, and his personality – but even he can see the humor in him being related to someone he hates."
