Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly facing challenges in Hollywood.

Industry insiders reveal that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's deal with Netflix has cooled after a mixed track record of projects, according to Radar Online.

Furthermore, Variety pointed out to frustration behind-the-scenes with insiders suggesting enthusiasm for Harry and Meghan's content has waned. However, the streaming giant has publicly pushed back on those assertions.

Beyond Netflix, Meghan and Harry are also facing criticism in parts of the entertainment industry following the end of their Spotify deal in 2023.

Yet, the former Suits alum continued to expand her ventures, recently launching new products under her lifestyle brand As Ever.

On the other hand, scrutiny within royal household has also intensified with insiders claiming that Queen Camilla told a friend that Meghan Markle "brainwashed harry," who was deeply changed following their relationship.

This was revealed in Tom Bower's book Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family.

However, an insider claimed that the timings of revelation couldn't be worse as "It's very difficult, if not obstructive, that Harry finds himself in this position at a time that he's still desperately trying to build a bridge with his family."

"He could well do without the distracting drama... because he gets judged by association," an insider added.

Moreover, Tom Bower also suggested that the couple's behavior lack "original talent," noting, "suffocating self-importance has made it even more important for them to return to Britain."

"That option, I believe, will be denied to them. They face an increasingly tough future. That's the price of betraying the royal family," he added.
