'House of the Dragon' fires up fiery dragons as season 3's fresh trailer is out

House of the Dragon has, at last, given hyped-up Game of Thrones fans a reason to be on edge as HBO drops a teaser trailer of season 3.

The saga of dragon and castle high politics will roll out on 21 June.

The series has an ensemble cast, including Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, and Matthew Needham.

Ryan Condal serves as showrunner, and with George R.R. Martin, he stepped in as executive producer.

In addition to the pair, Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett also executive produce.

After the hit Game of Thrones, HBO expanded the fantasy series by adding new spin-off projects; House of the Dragon is one of them. A knight of the Seven Kingdoms is another.

Besides them, there have been multiple series, and a movie based on Aegon's Conquest is also in the works.

The House of the Dragon's logline reads, "Set 200 years before Game of Thrones, the prequel dives deep into the savage Targaryen civil war — better known as the Dance of the Dragons — where power, betrayal, and fire-breathing beasts collide."
