Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel photo scandal: Jealous spouse theory exposed

Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel have been in hot water ever since photos of them getting cosy at a resort.

Given that the pair are married to different persons, it is expected that the rumour mill would point to the jealous spouse hiring a private investigator.

However, a TMZ report dismissed such speculation.

In a sharp turn, it was a random couple at Ambiente, the adults-only resort in Sedona, Arizona, who captured the shots.

The husband, a die-hard sports fan, immediately spotted Vrabel, the head coach of the New England Patriots.

Credence in the random couple's claim has been fuelled by another report from TMZ, which said they were declined a "four-figure" payday for the photos.

If it had been a setup by a jealous spouse, selling photos to a news outlet would perhaps have been the last thing.

But those photos were not the only batch of snaps showing Vrabel and Russini getting intimate.

Fresh photos dropped, reportedly from 2020, featuring the pair locking lips.

Reacting to this, Vrabel issued a statement, stating, "I take accountability for my actions and the actions that caused a distraction to the people that I care most about. My family, this football team, the organization and the fans."
