Prince Louis may face less pressure than his older brother Prince George in the future, however, he will be expected to live up to the standards that come with being part of the monarchy.

Speaking with The Mirror, former royal butler Grant Harrold said that although Prince William and Kate Middleton’s youngest son is unlikely to ever become king, both he and his sister Princess Charlotte will still grow up knowing the importance of behaving like members of the Royal family.

He noted that the siblings would eventually carve out their own roles within a modern monarchy.

Despite that expectation, Harrold predicted that Louis’ personality will remain unchanged and noted that royal fans have long been charmed by Louis’ mischievous side.

“Louis and Charlotte still face pressure, as they will know the importance of acting and behaving like royals,” he said.

“They will also have to pave out futures in a new, modern family - however that’s not a concern for now,” Harrold added. “Royal fans love Louis because of his cheekiness, and I don’t think that will change.”

“Of course everyone loved clips of him sticking his tongue out and mucking about on the Buckingham Palace balcony when he was younger, and we don’t see that as much any more - but there is definitely still some cheekiness there.

“The late Queen and Prince Philip had that cheeky side, and you can see it in Louis.”
