Meghan Markle’s bid to reconnect with Netflix bosses called ‘annoying’
Meghan Markle’s efforts to rebuild relationship with Netflix bosses face criticism
Meghan Markle is reportedly making renewed efforts to stay connected with Netflix leadership months after her and Prince Harry’s multi-million-dollar deal with the streaming platform came to an end.
According to reports, the Duchess of Sussex has been sending personal gestures which includes handwritten notes, flowers and jars from her As Ever brand to Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos and his wife Nicole Avant.
Adding to it, Meghan was seen spending time with the couple at a California event which further fuelled the speculation that she may be hoping to maintain a positive relationship with the company.
However, an insider said that Netflix bosses are finding the strategy “annoying,” adding, "To some, it comes off as too much - and honestly, it's not working,” per The Express.
“If anything, it's becoming annoying. But Meghan believes it's necessary. In her mind, this is how you repair - and secure - a relationship,” they added.
Another source revealed, "It's constant - cards, gifts, deeply personal messages. She's making sure they feel valued, remembered, and appreciated."
