Jen Vrabel's statement defending Mike Vrabel in Russini scandal is fake
Mike Vrabel's wife Jen Vrabel has not issued any statement after her husband's photos with Dianna Russini were published
Mike Vrabel addressed the controversy surrounding his scandalous photos with Dianna Russini during a press conference on Tuesday, although he mentioned neither the reporter nor the photos taken at Ambiente Sedona in Arizona.
He said: "I've had some difficult conversations with people I care about -- with my family, the organisation, the coaches, the players."
"Those have been positive and productive. We believe in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me."
"We never want our actions to negatively affect the team. We never want to be the cause of a distraction. There are comments and questions that I've answered for the team and with the team. We'll keep those private."
Mike Vrabel got married to Jen Vrabel after the couple reportedly met as student athletes at Ohio State University and celebrated 25 years of marriage in 2024. They have two sons, one of whom, Tyler, briefly played for the Atlanta Falcons.
Jen gave birth to the couple's second son, Carter, in November 20, 2001.
Following the controversy, Dianna Russini's resignation from Athletic and Vrabel's press conference have sparked a series of fake social media posts featuring statements attributed to Jen Vrabel.
In multiple posts shared on Facebook and other social media websites, Jen Vrabel has defended her husband against media reports linking him to Dianna Russini.
However, the wife of Mike Vrabel has made no public statement since his photos with Russini were published.
