Luci4's heartbreaking cause of death has been laid bare two months after the rapper's shocking death.
As per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the All Eyez on Me hitmaker passed away from an accidental fentanyl overdose.
For those unversed, Luci4 was found dead at a friend’s house in Los Angeles on February 22, 2026. He was 23.
His manager, Kayla G., announced his death on social media.
"I am devastated to inform you of that today. James, Luci4, and axxturel have passed away. He was truly a leader," she penned on Instagram at that time.
Kayla further wrote, "A king and musician And a genius There’s nobody like him. And there will never be We all loved him dearly."
"Rest easy. Please allow family and friends privacy and patience during this difficult time," the manager added.
Luci4, also known as Axxturel, gained popularity as the creator of the niche trap music genre “sigilkore.” He rose to prominence after his song Bodypartz went viral on social media platforms.
His last album, Vampmania 3, was released in 2025. It included songs #NEVERSURRENDER, B4 the Storm, and Sleeve.
Luci4's tragic death has left many heartbroken.
