Sources make shocking claim about D4vd's arrest on suspicion of Celeste Rivas murder
D4vd is in custody on suspicion of the murder of minor girl named Celeste Rivas
It is being reported that the Los Angeles Police Department was not satisfied with the L.A. County D.A. because D4vd was not being charged after the dead body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found in the trunk of his vehicle.
On April 14, the 21-year-old singer and songwriter was arrested on suspicion of 14-year-old girl Celeste after she was found lifeless in his impounded Tesla. He left his car near the 1300 block of Doheny Place in Los Angeles, a place close to his residence.
On the recent episode of the 2 Angry Men podcast, cohost Mark Geragos told Harvey that the LAPD took law into their hands in order to arrest D4vd, as higher officials were not planning to charge him, which frustrated the LAPD.
They were convinced that the evidence against D4vd was more than enough against the Placebo Effect crooner; however, D.A. was extending his arrest.
Notably, D4vd will be set free if D.A. shows leniency in this case and does not file charges against him by Monday, April 20, while LAPD is counting on D.A. to act fast to save the department from embarrassment.
It is pertinent to mention that the D.A. office also issued a statement that reads, "Our office has worked in close coordination with LAPD on this case, sharing resources and information. We have no knowledge of any conflict as this case has gone through the normal process any case would go through."
"How is it normal that you spend a year using all your resources, go to the Grand Jury for months, and then LAPD arrests without a charging document?" Geragos raised a question.
It is important to note that D4vd’s arrest comes after 2 years, as Celeste went missing in 2024 after she went on a movie date with her boyfriend, David, according to her mother’s complaint.
