“Personally, I think Prince William will need both girls - whom I've met and think are decent sorts - when he becomes monarch,” she penned in a piece for Woman & Home.

“Not as working royals but just to help out with the pageantry,” she added.

However, several reports claim that William and his wife Kate Middleton are reportedly keeping her distance from the sisters amid ongoing controversy around their parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s, over their ties with Jeffrey Epstein.

Eugenie have Beatrice, have recently faced scrutiny after their name was mentioned in Epstein files in alleged emails Fergie sent to the convicted sex offender.

Even though it was claimed that Eugenie and Beatrice would not be affected by the while Epstein controversy, it has been reported that the Princess of Wales is keeping Eugenie at arm’s length.

Sharing the reason behind it, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Mail that Kate simply does not have much in common with the two sisters.

“Eugenie, particularly, seems to be closer to [Prince] Harry,” he added.

The Express reported that Kate and Eugenie both studied at Marlborough College, however, their experiences there were very different.

Back when Eugenie was 18, it was reported that she was caught “frolicking” sans-clothes “in the ground" at the plush after a night of end-of-term drinking in 2008.

"The girls had been drinking, possibly in a local pub, and decided to let their hair down,” revealed a staff member to The Sun.

“For some reason they stripped off and started prancing about. It was light-hearted and they were sort of frolicking like nymphs."

Another source shared, "It was nothing more than high jinks at the end of term in May. A group of them were reprimanded and that's the end of the matter."
