Ruby Rose turns to police after accusing Katy Perry of sexual assault
Ruby Rose shares the update on social media, drawing a response from Katy Perry
Ruby Rose says she is finally telling her truth about Katy Perry, who she claims sexually assaulted her two decades ago. Yet, that is just the start.
The John Wick star, in addition to breaking her silence on the abuse claims, has also headed to the police station to report the incident.
She dropped the update in a reply to a fan who asked, "So you have the balls to make accusations but not enough of them to actually file a report?" If you did, you could stop others from potentially being victimized by her as well (that is, if it even actually happened in the first place)."
"Just left the police station," Rose simply responded.
Her response came after several social media users questioned her shocking revelation, with various critics pointing out why she did not take legal action sooner.
Responding to this criticism, Rose, in one of her several emotional replies, wrote, "Yeah, not interested in filing a report over this, not when I haven't even filed a report for the numerous rapes at the hands of grown men."
She continued, "But she is more than welcome to sue me (she won’t, because it happened; I have photos, and it was literally in public and witnessed by multiple people)."
"Plus, there is so much more that happened in the years leading up to her silly song that she won't want me discussing. The psychological manipulation was strong with that one."
