Kate Middleton, Prince William 'preparing' for their reign amid King Charles 'abdication plans'

The royal insiders have revealed that Kate Middleton and Prince William are ‘preparing’ for their reign with focus on their three children amid rumours King Charles is planning to abdicate.

The close confidant revealed to the Heat World the Prince and Princess of Wales focus has been to ensure they raise their kids to have the highest regard for their duty to the Crown.

George, Charlotte and Louis are currently the second, third and fourth in the line of succession respectively.

The spy claims, “There’s definitely a growing sense of excitement around William and Kate and their coming reign. Everywhere they go people tell them the country will be so much better off when they’re in charge.

“The children are old enough now to pick up on it. Kate is very mindful of how much they hear and see but they are aware that their uncle has been caught up in some serious and unfortunate matters.”

“It’s not something Kate and William delve into, they are trying to protect them from the more sordid details, but it’s impossible to totally shield them,” the insider said and added “George and Charlotte are at an age where their friends at school may talk about it, so they do need to address it.”

Although, the insider said the expectation to serve is already there in George, Charlotte and Louis, and they can’t act like regular kids as they have a duty to the Crown, however the Princess of Wales is raising them to be very aware of that.

“Like most things Kate and William keep it very matter of fact. The big emphasis is on how important it is for the kids to handle this with diplomacy. In the future when their parents take the throne, they will be stepping into bigger roles and they’re being prepped for that every day.”
