Reba McEntire breaks silence on postponing marriage to fiance Rex Linn
The actress confirmed her engagement to Rex Linn in September
Reba McEntire is sharing some updates on her upcoming marriage to fiance Rex Linn.
During a recent chat with E! News, the country singer spilled the reason behind postponing her upcoming nuptials with Rex.
The Happy’s Place actress revealed that the wedding bells depend on their busy work schedule.
“We're still waiting on a third season pickup from Happy’s Place,” she told the outlet as the couple attended the 2026 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 1.
Reba further shared, "And Rex got picked up on Stick with Owen Wilson, so that pushed the wedding back.”
According to Rex, “He says, ‘Work comes first,’” revealed Reba.
For those unversed, Reba confirmed her engagement to Rex during the Emmy Awards in September.
In November of the same year, Rex shared that he and Reba are cherishing their engagement period.
“What we’re doing right now, honestly, is enjoying our engagement time,” he told the outlet. “We haven’t set a date, we’re just going to enjoy our engagement and enjoy going to Happy’s Place every day.”
“We love being around one another. We like going to work, we like coming home from work. We can’t wait to go back the next day. Our relationship in real life has enhanced our scenes where we’re together because we’re a lot more comfortable. It makes it a lot better for us.”
