Family head breaks silence after horror at Morgan Wallen's concert
The male lead says his family's had a troubling experience at Morgan Wallen's show
Throngs of families flocked to the Morgan Wallen concert that took place on July 18 at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium.
Troy Grevelding's folks were among them: his wife, brother, nieces, and his 8-year-old daughter, who was attending her first-ever concert.
Then, allegedly, the family faced a shocking incident after the country musician took the stage.
It involved a man who Troy believes had been drinking and talking loudly on FaceTime, behind them.
When told not to do it, he presumably agreed, and the two even exchanged views on sports.
Yet, when Wallen's set began, everything changed.
According to Troy, the same person with whom he smoothed things over began soaking his and his family's legs, which he initially believed to be an accidental beer spill.
However, his wife corrected him, saying it was that man who had his pants down and allegedly urinating on them.
“And then my wife says to me, ‘Whatever that man’s doing, is all over my leg,’” Troy told People.
“And at that same time, I was kind of, like, standing on an angle, so I just kind of like, look over my right shoulder, and at that point, dude, his pants are completely down.”
Troy explains that it was unclear whether the man was attempting to urinate into “a bottle or a can.”
“And I don’t care what he was doing because I was getting peed all over, my wife was getting peed all over, [and] my 8-year-old niece was getting peed on,” he fired off while adding it was unclear whether he was urinating in a bottle or onto them.
The family has since been in touch with M&T Bank Stadium officials, while Maryland Transportation Authority Police reportedly detained the unidentified man but did not arrest him.
Meanwhile, authorities have begun an investigation into the matter.
