Cruz Beckham gives his family shourout in new music video
Cruz Beckham celebrates family and music by featuring his grandfather, Tony Adams, in his latest project
Cruz Beckham says ‘there’s nothing better’ than working with family as he features his grandfather, Tony, in a new music video.
The 20-year-old musician, the youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham, revealed that his grandfather appears in the music video for his upcoming song For Your Love, calling the experience deeply meaningful.
Sharing a first look on Instagram, Cruz opened up about the bond he shares with Tony, who was also in a band at the same age.
“This is my grandad, Tony. When he was my age, he was also in a band, and our bond for music is so special to me,” Cruz wrote. “Having him in the video and cover for this particular song is something I will never forget.”
In the clip, Tony is seen joining Cruz’s band, The Breakers, dressed in a striped blazer and a yellow tie as he holds a microphone during the performance.
Cruz added that working with relatives made the project even more special, writing, “There’s nothing better,” and noted that his cousin Libby Adams served as producer. At the same time, his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, executive-produced the video.
The tribute left Tony’s wife, Jackie Adams, emotional. “Cruzie. This has made me cry!! We are so proud of you and the boys. We love you lots,” she commented on the post.
Cruz’s announcement comes amid tension within the Beckham family following older brother Brooklyn’s recent public criticism of their parents.
While David and Victoria have not addressed the situation publicly, Cruz briefly fueled speculation earlier this week with a now-deleted TikTok that appeared to reference the rift.
Despite the backdrop of family drama, Cruz has kept the focus on his music. He and The Breakers are set to tour the UK later this month, followed by shows in Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin.
For Your Love is scheduled for release on February 13.
