Why King Charles wants Andrew Mountbatten Windsor out of Royal Lodge before Easter

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is being forced to move out of Royal Lodge by Easter, and the reason behind it has been revealed by an expert.

Andrew possesses a 75-year lease on the 30-room property but he’s being forced to move out after being stripped of his titles over his connection to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to Daily Mail’s royal editor, Rebecca English, Andrew is given the Easter deadline to move out because the Royal Family will be in Windsor to celebrate the holiday.

Andrew and Sarah not being there will help the others avoid "another potentially tricky encounter" during Easter.

"While I understand Marsh Farm at Sandringham, which was recently mooted as a possibility, is destined to be his new home, it is considered 'quite small' and needs a 'lot of work doing on it' to make it habitable and secure," she wrote.

"The plan is that he will not be at Royal Lodge by Easter. But might there need to be an interim measure [as regards moving to Norfolk]? Possibly," she suggested.

A source alsoweighed in, saying, "It's difficult to know if he [Andrew] is being deliberately provocative, utterly pig-headed or just plain stupid."

"Knowing Andrew, it could be any one of the three. But he seems unable to keep his head down. He really is a man with a habit of making terribly bad decisions," they added.

The royals also avoided Andrew and Sarah over Christmas, which they spent at Sandringham. The couple stayed in Windsor over the holiday.
