'Finding Prince Charming' star Jasen Kaplan's cause of death announced

Finding Prince Charming star Jasen Kaplan's cause of death has been announced.

On Friday, Law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ that the former reality star died by suicide.

For those unversed, Jasen breathed his last at a hospital in New York City on December 31, 2025.

Jasen rose to fame after starring on the first season of the reality dating series, Finding Prince Charming.

He was also a renowned makeup artist. He had worked with several stars, including Eva Longoria, Kelly Osbourne, Bethenny Frankel, and Lynda Carter.

On January 1, Bethenny paid a heartwarming homage to “magnetic, generous, endlessly supportive” Jasen. 

“Jasen Kaplan had a positive energy that was truly infectious. He was fun, vibrant, and always brought his A game," she penned on Instagram while sharing a series of photos and clips of the late star from over the years.

"The world lost a one-of-a-kind gem on New Year’s Eve, which still doesn’t feel real,” continued the Real Housewives Of New York alum.

"Jasen Kaplan had a positive energy that was truly infectious. He was fun, vibrant, and always brought his A game," she added.
