Meghan Markle ‘sought answers’ from King Charles in letter complaining of different royal rules
Meghan Markle once penned an entire letter filled with complaints towards King Charles its being said
Meghan Markle is reported to have written a private letter to King Charles in which she questioned why she was restricted by certain royal rules while carrying out her duties as a working member of the Royal Family.
The Duchess of Sussex has been outspoken in recent years about her experience within the Firm, particularly following her and Prince Harry’s decision to step back from royal life in 2020.
According to reports, Meghan did attempt to address her concerns behind closed doors before making public comments. It is claimed that she reached out directly to her father-in-law, King Charles, seeking clarity on why she believed she was treated differently from other members of the Royal Family.
The letter allegedly raised questions about “different rules” she felt were applied to her compared with other royals.
Veteran royal commentator Neil Sean previously discussed the matter in a video shared on his YouTube channel. He claimed Meghan wanted a direct explanation from the monarch and hoped to secure a one-to-one meeting with him.
According to Sean, the Duchess was keen to outline the challenges she said she faced from the moment she joined the British monarchy.
The commentator further suggested that Meghan felt particularly frustrated when comparing her situation to that of Sarah Ferguson, who has continued to appear on British television and promote books while retaining her duchess title.
He claimed Meghan questioned why different standards appeared to apply, especially when it came to media appearances and commercial opportunities.
